Michael D. Farkas
Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Farkas served as the Chief Executive Officer of Balance Labs, Inc. from its inception on June 5, 2014 until January 15, 2015 and has been the Chairman of the Board since inception. In 2009 Mr. Farkas was the Founder of Car Charging Group, Inc and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors since 2010. In August 2015 Mr. Farkas resigned as CEO and now serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Visionary Officer of Car Charging Group. Mr. Farkas is the founder and manager of The Farkas Group, a privately held investment firm. Mr. Farkas also currently holds the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Atlas Group, where its subsidiary, Atlas Capital Services, a broker-dealer, has successfully raised capital for a number of public and private clients until it withdrew its FINRA registration in 2007. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Farkas has established a successful track record as a principal investor across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, technology, aerospace and defense, agriculture, and automotive.
Ms. Villegas was Executive Assistant at Car Charging, Inc., a publicly traded company and the Farkas Group, Inc. At both companies, Ms. Villegas assisted the President and CEO in matters such as meeting schedules, appointments, conferences and travel arrangements. Ms. Villegas also assists the accounting department with file/database maintenance and record-keeping. Ms. Villegas also helps the executives receive and distribute correspondence to the appropriate department and personnel, as well as other administrative tasks in support of the companies’ daily operations.
Ms. Villegas holds an Associate in Arts Degree in Business Administration & Accounting and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology at Florida International University.
Vice President, Business Development
Derek Rawden-Lewis is an international businessman experienced in owning and operating businesses in the U.K, The U.S.A. and Canada, with a track record of accomplishments spanning more than three decades. His career experience includes consulting to the entertainment, hospitality, banking, textile, electronics, agriculture and airline industries and to national and foreign governments. During the years 1992 to 2006, as C.E.O and President of multi-national, electronic products manufacturer; Trumeter Company, Inc. his strategies gained comprehensive product acceptance and ultimately market dominance. This enabled the company to become the engine, driving sales and revenues for the entire multi-national company. In 2006 (until 2016) he joined then fledgling gardening products manufacturer, Vegherb, LLC. as Vice President. His effort and expertise gained successful market entry for the company’s products marketwide in The USA and Canada then ultimately worldwide with the result that the company’s brand still remains the brand leader in the product category.
Robert M. Wolf
Chief Financial Officer
Robert M. Wolf is the controller of Balance Labs, Inc and Wholly owned subsidiaries. He is responsible for the treasury, tax, controllership, internal audit, IT, SEC filings, and financial reporting for the company. Robert began his career with Balance Labs Inc. in October of 2015, six months after the Company’s inception. Prior to joining Balance Labs, Inc. Robert spent 30 years as a financial professional. He began his financial career, after spending two years in the U.S. Army, in public accounting, working for both Coopers and Lybrand for 3 years as a senior audit manager and Stone , Leavitt and Shuman as a junior partner for five years. He then joined the private sector as a chief financial officer, being employed by several companies in various industries for over twenty years. One retail company of which he was chief financial officer, he guided from start-up through IPO. Most recently he has worked in the financial service industry for both domestic and international companies. Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Boston University School of Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University Graduate School of Management. He is a CPA in the State of New York, although he is inactive at the present time. He is married with two children and is active in local community service groups.
